Can I hide or change the size of text boxes on the order screens?
Yes.
Many times each company has a specific set of information that needs to be entered for an order or purchase invoice. This can vary from company to company. Paradigm allows you to modify the order screens so that the employees waste no time tabbing through unnecessary fields. In this case, the Purchase Invoice screen allows you to change the amount received. This is a calculated field in this case and shouldn’t be modified. In this screen, there should only be a change to the quantity received.
How do you modify the amount received box in the Purchase Invoice to not allow changes?
1. Go to System–>Company Preferences–>Custom Setup
2. Go to the Form Detail Settings tab
3. Select the Purchase Invoice
4. Go to Qty Received
5. Change the Read Only property to Yes
6. Uncheck the tab stop check box.
